The Ouray Ice Park is a human made ice climbing venue operated in a spectacular natural gorge within walking distance of the City of Ouray, Colorado. It is home to more than 200 named ice and mixed climbs, most within a 15-minute walk of the Park entrance. The Park and its infrastructure are jointly owned and managed by the City of Ouray, the nonprofit Ouray Ice Park, Inc. (OIPI), and a mix of other private and public landowners.

Regular Hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Saturday - Sunday from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Our Official Opening Day for the 2018/2019 Season was Saturday, December 15th!! As of now, all areas are open!! Certain climbs in these areas may be closed and will clearly be marked as such. Please respect all closures.
So #getyouraxeingear and come on out to the Ouray Ice Park for and get first sticks in virgin ice for the 2018/2019 Season!!
We anticipate more terrain to be opening in the days and weeks to come until we are at 100%!!
