The Gazebo Wall

The Gazebo Wall gets a fair amount of sun along with the Shithouse Wall. This can sometimes adversely affect the ice conditions, but it can also provide for some added warmth and plastic ice. Please use the ladders to cross over the fence whenever possible. Use ice screws and trees for top belays. An extra rope, or long pieces of webbing will be helpful for setting up anchors. There is a walk down in between the Five Fingers Area and the Shithouse Wall if the river is frozen. There is also a possible walkdown on the other side of the canyon across from the gazebo. It easiest to approach this area from the Box Canyon Inn and Victorian Inn and walking up the road toward Box Canyon Falls.
