THE OURAY ICE PARK WILL OPEN THIS WINTER SOMEWHERE BETWEEN DECEMBER 10TH AND DECEMBER 24TH, 2010 DEPENDENT UPON WEATHER. THIS PAST SUMMER WE GREATLY IMPROVED THE PARKS WATER DELIVERY SYSTEM AND INFRASTRUCTURE ALLOWING US TO NOT ONLY MAKE FATTER ICE, BUT MAKE FATTER ICE REALLY FAST. CHEERS AND THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT BOUGHT MEMBERSHIPS AND MADE DONATIONS IN 2010!!

 The 16th Annual Ouray Ice Festival will occur January 6-9, 2011. We have great speakers and films lined up already and the ZOMBIE party on Elvis’s birthday (Saturday, January 8th) will be lots of fun. Fund raising to support the Ice Park is primarily by donations and membership fees. Please consider becoming a member and supporting the sponsors that support the Ice Park. The primary fund raiser is the Ouray Ice Festival which has become a major climber’s rendezvous each January. Ouray locals create a spectacular event that features exhibition climbing, free clinics, seminars, slide shows, and gear demos.
