The Ouray Ice Park is a human made ice climbing venue operated in a spectacular natural gorge within walking distance of the City of Ouray, Colorado. It is home to more than 200 named ice and mixed climbs, most within a 15-minute walk of the Park entrance. The Park and its infrastructure are jointly owned and managed by the City of Ouray, the nonprofit Ouray Ice Park, Inc. (OIPI), and a mix of other private and public landowners.
Hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Saturday - Sunday from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. For updated conditions please visit the conditions page or follow us on Facebook & Instagram.
The OURAY ICE PARK Will Be OPEN
We are pleased to announce that our OFFICIAL OPENING DAY will be this Saturday, December 15th!! As of now, OPEN areas will be: The Lead Only, The Pic O Vic, The Schoolroom, The Trestle, and South Park. With some luck, and lots of hard work, other areas may be open as well.
So #getyouraxeingear and come on out to the Ouray Ice Park for Opening Weekend and get first sticks in virgin ice for the 2018/2019 Season all weekend long!!
We anticipate more terrain to be opening in the days and weeks to come until we are at 100%!!
