Competiton Information

If you are interested in competing in 2011, please review the Competition Document (previous years rules and regulations – subject to change for this year). There you will find information on the competition rules, regulations, judging criteria and logistics. Also included is information on the starting order for the preliminary rounds.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS INFO IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
This years competition will be held on Saturday January 8. If you are interested in participating, please fill out the competition application and purchase a membership.


Applications are due on, or before, DECEMBER 15, 2010. Applications received after that date will not be considered. Notification will be provided to you on or before DECEMBER 20, 2010, as your acceptance.


This years competition route will be held under either the Upper or Lower Bridge. The route will have colored quickdraws and signs posted identifying it as the official competition route. Avoid climbing in this areas so you can avoid being disqualified!

The competition will again be leash-less and spur-less, and is open to any member of the Ouray Ice Park.
If you are not already a member, go to
