Tasting & Voting: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Get some laps in & get some chili laps in)
Awards & Raffle: 3:30 PM
Location: Dick’s Chalet (Pop-up tents outside)
The gauntlet has been thrown. The OIP Ice Farmers claim they make the best chili in the canyon, and they are entering their secret batch to prove it. Can you beat them?
For the Chefs (Competitors): Whether you have a secret family recipe or a new experimental brew, we want you here.
The Setup: We provide the power (plugs available) and propane/stoves; you bring the chili.
The Prize: The winner will be crowned the 2026 Ouray Ice Park Chili Cookoff Champion, and take home a custom engraved Chili Champion Yeti (Chili) Bucket and the ultimate bragging rights of beating the Ice Farmers.

For the Tasters (Voters): You are the judge.
How it Works: All current OIP Members receive a tasting cup and 3 Voting Tickets upon check-in. Taste the chilies and drop your tickets in the jar of your favorites. The chef with the most tickets wins!
Not a Member? No problem! Sign up for a membership at the door to get your cup and voting tickets instantly.
The Raffle: Your vote is your entry! Once the chili winner is crowned, we will draw voting tickets from the box for a massive raffle featuring a GRAND PRIZE: A Two-Night Stay at Twin Peaks Lodge! We are also raffling off gear from our sponsors (more on that soon). Bring your friends & fellow members!
