Intro to Ice

This program is only open to individuals who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color

Welcome to the exhilarating world of ice climbing! Our Intro to Ice program is your gateway to scaling beautiful frozen waterfalls in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment. Designed for and by the BIPOC community, this course is perfect for absolute beginners or anyone looking to refresh their skills in a space that celebrates you.

Our expert guides (all BIPOC as well) will teach you everything you need to know to get started, from fitting your crampons and swinging ice tools to fundamental climbing techniques and essential safety protocols. We'll be climbing in the world-renowned Ouray Ice Park, providing a fantastic and accessible venue to learn and build confidence.

This program is more than just a clinic; it's a space to build community, share experiences, and redefine what it means to be a climber. We believe everyone belongs outdoors, and we can't wait to share this incredible adventure with you. Register for the course today!
