BIPOC On Ice

Building an Inclusive Future on Ice

The Ouray Ice Park is proud and excited to announce our official partnership with BIPOC On Ice. This collaboration is built on a shared love for climbing and a dedicated commitment to making the sport we love a more accessible, inclusive, and truly representative space for everyone. We believe everyone belongs outdoors, and we are honored to host this incredible community of amazing climbers.

BIPOC On Ice programs address historical and systemic barriers in climbing culture by increasing representation and access to ice climbing. These programs strive to provide skill-building, mentorship, and shared space amongst the BIPOC community. By increasing visibility, they help redefine outdoor culture by celebrating individuality and believing everyone belongs outdoors.

Note these programs are for those that identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color.
