The Stump Wall

The Stump Wall is the only ice climbing area on the east side of the Uncompahgre Gorge and may be accessed beyond the apex of the first hairpin turn on Highway 550 out of Ouray. The Stump Wall is a small area, but offers steep and challenging terrain that may be led or top-roped.
