Ground Maintenance

Help keep the Park safe and easy to access! This position is responsible for sanding and shoveling snow as needed on all of the paths, around the Vendor Village, up to the Kids' Climbing College.  

Tasks include:

• Shoveling snow.

• Picking up sand in buckets and carting them to the slick paths all around the Park. 

• Refilling water jugs.

• Emptying trash.

• Other general grounds maintenance tasks that might be needed. 

This position is outside please dress for cold temperature, we advise you to have winter boots, a warm jacket, hat, and gloves. Please note if it is not snowing the shift may end early. The Vendor Village, Walk-Up Wall, and all clinics take place from 8am to 4pm.  

Physical Activity: Shoveling and heavy lifting.

Check in Location: Information Booth in the Vendor Village next to the Lower Bridge and Powderhouse in the Park.

Please be on time as we want to make sure the Vendor Village and other pathways in the area are shoveled before we open at 8am! At the end of your shift, please check in with an OIPI staff member. If you need to leave early, please check in with an OIPI staff member. Thank you!
