Funky Ice for Beginners with Santiago Vega

This clinic is designed to introduce climbers to the weird and wonderful world of non-standard ice formations. Led by Santiago Vega and supported by Mountain Equipment, participants will learn techniques for navigating "funky" features like mushrooms, cauliflowers, and chandeliers. The focus will be on creative movement, body positioning for awkward shapes, and gaining the confidence to tackle ice that isn't perfectly vertical.
